Today was an exciting day for me. I spent the first half of the day refreshing my browser in hope of a UPS ‘Delivered’ update… and then it finally arrived. My new 5d, lens, flash, and other accessories finally arrived. Of course I tested my first pictures on my puppy, Olive. :)

I peeked into our office tonight while Pete was working and saw this… it was too cute to pass up!

Shortly after Olive reached over and licked my lens… at that point I decided to put the camera away. :)

I intend to keep this blog mostly about photography. Because I brought my camera along to this event, I decided it counts. Those who know me, know that I’m a pretty big nerd… which is why I was so excited to go to the Star Wars exhibit at the Science Museum.
